Ian O'Donovan
An Irish producer who arrived in 2010 with Laurent Garnier, John Digweed and Dave Clarke behind him, and has stayed one of the surest hands in melodic techno since.
His records have gone out on KMS, Kevin Saunderson's Detroit label, on Digweed's Bedrock, on Christian Smith's Tronic, on Sasha's Last Night On Earth and on Detone. Drumcode took Vortex in 2015. He has reworked Inner City's Good Life and worked alongside Digweed; Richie Hawtin and Carl Cox play his tracks.
For Metrohm he takes Lucid Dream somewhere darker than Petit Beurre left it: the same hypnotic pull, less light on it.
