Beriba
Behind Beriba is Carlo van Vliet, who runs FOCUS Rotterdam and plays out of 's-Gravendeel, in the south of the Netherlands. Techno and Detroit techno, acid, and the deep end of all three.
He names Laurent Garnier and Dimitri Kneppers as the two who shaped how he plays — Kneppers being, as it happens, on this roster too. What he goes for is the long set that tells a story rather than the quick win: his own phrase for it is keep the fire burning.
